Sit-N-Go’s (SNG)

Pro : All Notes :

All of the videos on HUSNG are based solely around playing heads-up sit and go tournaments. The videos range in buy-ins and include $1 heads-up sit and go tournaments all the way up to $1000+ heads-up sit and go tournaments. The majority of the videos are within the $5-$55 buy-in although there is also a wide selection of videos in the $100-$200 buy-in range. A lot of the new videos have been released from Cog Dissonance and xSCWx, both of whom are extremely successful heads-up players. Some of the videos in the member’s library are reviews of how the instructors play and I find these very helpful. Once you go through the entire library of heads-up poker videos you’ll have enough knowledge to beat anyone you want. I’ve been a successful medium limit heads-up player for a while now and the videos provided by the coaches at HUSNG have helped me increase my bottom line.

Ratings :

Weaknesses

There are definitely some weaknesses that need to be improved upon at HUSNG to make the site easier to navigate. The number one feature that needs implemented is the ability to stream the videos directly from the library rather then making the member has to download the videos to their computers. I’ve noticed a few of the videos have some sound problems, which makes it difficult to listen to the coach, but the majority of the videos are excellent quality. It would be nice if they could add a feature so that you could sort the videos by buy-in rather then by instructor only.

Strengths

Downloading the videos to your computer is painless and only takes about 1 minute per video. The majority of the videos are flawless and have prefect audio and video. You can sort through the videos several ways including a master list, which lists the videos by the date they were added. You can also sort the videos by instructor, which will allow you to go through the videos by a single coach at a time if you’d like. The forums are also a huge perk and a great reason to join HUSNG. All of the members can communicate through the forums although from what I’ve noticed the coaches don’t participate in the forums that much.

Expected Value: Is HUSNG Worth It?

In my opinion HUSNG is definitely worth it’s weight in gold if you’re already playing heads-up sit and go tournaments seriously and want to really work on improving your game. You can easily get away with the standard membership initially at $25/month until you move up to the $55+ buy-ins, at which point you’ll want to purchase the premium membership. By the time you move up the $55+ buy-ins you’ll easily be making enough ROI from the training to make it worth the cost. With new videos being added weekly by some of the best HU tournament players online, it’s next to impossible to find a better source of HU strategy.
