Matt “MattG1983″ Graham

Matt “MattG1983” Graham

Matt “MattG1983” Graham was born in 1983 in New Orleans, Louisiana and is currently one of the trainers on the PokerPwnage training website. Matt currently lives in Houston, Texas although a lot of his time is spent playing live poker tournaments around the world. Just like a lot of the young poker players out there today Matt started his professional poker career by playing online poker.

Matt started playing low limit cash games at Poker Stars when he started playing the game, but he quickly started playing sit and go tournaments and multi-table tournaments. He now plays in some of the largest online poker tournaments at Poker Stars and he has done very well for himself. Over the past few years Graham has also been able to win several live poker tournaments including a couple WSOP Bracelets.

Graham has also cashed in a total of 11 major live poker events which has earned him over $1 million in prize money. If Matt can continue on his torrid pace then there is no doubt that he will become one of the most feared poker players in the world. While Matt still works on mastering his game you can learn exactly what makes him the player he is by joining PokerPwnage.

Unlike most young poker players Matt Graham is a very tight poker player and isn’t one to gamble very often. This makes him very hard to beat and it’s why he excels in tournaments rather then cash games. A lot of the young players today feel that they need to be aggressive at the tables to be successful, but Matt proves this myth to be completely wrong.
