Welcome the newest poker training site to enter the crowded poker training frame, Tournament Poker Edge. TournamentPokerEdge.com as the name specifies is a new training site that will deal with only poker tournament training and have only tournament strategy videos in their library. Headlining the poker coaches is none other than Casey “bigdogpckt5s” Jarzabek, the legend who has been destroying online poker tournaments the past few years, and ranking #1 at various times by Pocketfives and OPR. Their slogan is “Professional MTT training from the top live and online pros” and judging by their initial coaching roster and eagerness to provide quality videos, TPE can definitely put itself into contention towards the best tournament training site. Multi Table Tournaments (MTT)
Currently an assortment of MTT videos including freezeouts, rebuys, and various strategy videos differentiated by various stages of a tournament (early, mid, late, final table), as well as multitabling and single table varieties. The majority of the videos feature bigdogpckt5s which is more than welcome. Viewers can now get the insight of how situationally based aggression wins you poker tournaments. Most of the videos are hand replayers but there are a few live sessions and poker theory videos. You also have the ability to select certain concepts in which you want to learn more about. Numerous options such as 3 betting, 4 betting, bubble play, calling ranges, and much much more.

Weaknesses
While the actual site design is nice and clean, there is much to be desired in regards to the structure, especially with video sorting, categoring, searching, etc. With 36 videos it is all one long list and you are unable to sort/search by instructor, or buyin. This will be a major problem when the library increases, and sortability is important for most viewers. ** Note: within a day of writing this review and listening to our feedback, Tournament Poker Edge have implemented sortability; by instructor and by stake! The video quality is pretty standard, not HD like some other sites, but definately viewable. There are some audio issues, echoing, etc.. but that is something all of theses training sites experienced during their infancy stage.
Strengths
One of the biggest pluses for a dedicated site is that you receive exactly what you want to pay for. If you are looking for mtt training, then tournamentpokeredge is where you can receive tournament strategy videos. Many tournament regulars have been wondering what goes on in the head of Casey Jarzabek during his ultra aggro persona, and now everybody can. There appears to be frequent blog and article updates, and no forum question has been unanswered so far, with the coaches answering both support and strategy inquiries. With videos releasing at a 1 per day pace, and the ability to stream, download to an ipod or windows media file, there will be no shortage of videos for your viewing pleasure.
Expected Value: Is Tournament Poker Edge worth it?
TournamentPokerEdge.com has come into the poker training scene late and is looking to challenge the other great mtt training sites such as pokerpwnage, cardrunners, and pokervt. With a lead instructor with the resume of bigdogpocketfives, they have a nice table captain to build off of. At $20 and change per month and no signup fee, Tournament Poker Edge is definitely worth it at this point for the mtt grinder.
