You’re going to have an awfully hard time trying to find an online poker room that is more fun to play in then the PKR Poker room. The entire poker room is 3D and you’ll be able to create your own player which you can dress up in hundreds of different clothing options. US poker players won’t be able to play in the poker room which is a shame, but if online poker becomes legal in the US then obviously PKR will be open to open their doors to anyone in the USA. I have been spending most of my time playing in the PKR poker room lately due to the 3D experience and the fact that the traffic has grown nicely since opening.
Software
PKR runs their own software suite which nobody else is allowed to use and it’s the best software on the market right now for online poker. It’s the very first poker room that is entirely 3D and you’ll be able to enjoy several different poker room locations based on the stakes you play on. You will need to download the PKR software to your computer when you play for the first time, but after that you’ll be good to go. I do feel that the lobby could use a little work as it’s quite basic, but it gets the job done and is really simple to navigate through due to the simplicity of the design.
Games
PKR Poker doesn’t offer a good game selection yet, but that is because they wanted to grow the poker room before implementing too many different games. I believe that they will soon be able to add some new poker games because traffic has been spiking, but for now you’ll be able to play Holdem, Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo. There are about a dozen different tournament structures available in the poker room for you to enjoy as well as cash games in limit and no limit.
