DeucesCracked is an online training site that portrays a community or group training aspect, which is more evident than any other site. It is pretty much an extension of the 2+2 forums. A collection of well named and respected coaches, Deuces Cracked combines all of their collective thoughts into a single resource location. Although there may be plans to add some more SNG or MTT videos in the future, DeucesCracked is mainly a cash game learning site. Deuces Cracked is pretty much poker-education TV.

Notes:
Deucescracked is very favourable towards cash games, and all varieties included. There is a good number of Limit videos which is contrary to most other training sites. About 2/3s of the videos are geared toward lower limits, with the other third a mixture of medium and high stakes. With players such as Whitelime or FoxwoodsFiend, there is no shortage of high EV nosebleed players. The Omaha and other games library continues to grow, as does the MTT/SNG videos which is pretty much just an extra bonus for this cash game geared training site.

Many DeucesCracked videos are structured in a strategy/lesson style with a subject, rather than a game session. Lessons are explained with great detail, and the different subjects allow you to simply chose a weakness and work on it.

Multi Table Tournaments (MTT) & Sit-N-Go's (SNG)

Notes:
The MTT/SNG section has slowly grown, averaging about a video per month. This section is clearly not a major objective for the Deuces team, but added as a bonus to loyal subscribers as requested. AMT does a very good job in his SNG videos teaching when to PUSH and how to become the LAST MAN STANDING. More and more sng videos continue to be added to the deucescracked video library.

Other Games (Stud Omaha, Razz, etc)

Notes:
A decent selection of various stakes cash videos for the Omaha games and even some Stud lessons can be found. Joe Tall, Gergery, and especially Vanessa Selbst do a great job in defining these games to beginning players. The 2x6 series of Vanessa teaching Whitelime how to play PLO has got to be more valuable than any book written on this subject.

Weaknesses

Originally the biggest weakness with DeucesCracked was variety. Being only a cash game training site, and predominately short handed only, there isn't much else to learn from the site. Though that has been highly addressed in 2009 with many video releases in previously "weaker" areas. The PLO section is now amongst the industry leaders, and more and more sng and mtt videos are being released. Site navigation has also been addressed to become more user friendly.

Strengths

The audio and video quality is just about perfect. From all the videos reviewed, there was never an instance of muffled sounds, or eye squinting moments. The instruction on the videos are excellent, they are more of a lecture style, and focus more on a topic and elaborate on it. This allows viewers to focus on certain aspects, rather than having to intake everything all at once. The core of Deuces Cracked is in low limit cash games, so this is a good place to start if you want to begin building your bankroll. A lot of new players play in limit games to maximize bonus whoring, and with the extensive limit library, DeucesCracked is a good choice.

Expected Value: Is Deuces Cracked worth it"

If you average out all the scores above, DeucesCracked would look like an average site, so why the high overall rating" As with any good or service, pricing and quality is key, and in this industry DuecesCracked is cheap and awesome. Monthly fee with no contract, and no initiation fee allows you complete freedom. Not only is Deuces Cracked affordable, the quality is there as well, with industry leading cash game video poker training. Deuces Cracked management also made a debatable business decision to allow the downloading of videos and no DRM! (Digital rights management). This means that you can download the video, watch it whenever you want, wherever you want, as many times as you want, and no expiry date! Great deal for a must have program. Once the sng/tournament side gets up to top 5 industry wide, it would be very difficult to not give DC a perfect score.
