Multi Table Tournaments (MTT)

Sit-N-Go’s (SNG)

Weaknesses
One of the main benefits of joining a major poker training site these days is the interaction between user and other users and instructors. With no forum, Deepstacks is missing out on that. With forums, users are able to discuss videos, what they liked or disliked, and in turn it definately helps out the video producer improve on future products. Each module is fairly short, and some only in the 5 minute range. It probably won’t take long to get through the whole site. Also the majority of videos are all level 3 (though many should be rated level 2 or under), there is a lacking of strategy for advanced players.
Strengths
The poker training videos on Deepstacks poker university are all excellent quality. The production value is top notch with high quality audio and video. The true strength of this training site is its unique approach where the illusion of the instructor sitting on the video cutout talking directly to you and giving you answers even when you are wrong. Strength is also in the future of deepstacks where there are major plans for more innovative interactive learning tools. Deepstacks recently added PLO videos which have strengthen their poker training library.
Expected Value: Is Deepstacks University worth it?
Right now deepstacks is geared toward mostly beginners and those with decent poker knowledge. The only games offered currently are full ring cash NLHE, some limit, sitngos, and tournaments so if you are looking for something else, there is no need to proceed right now. The knowledge and instruction provided by all the instructors is excellent. Learning the essentials taught here are a great way to start the right way of playing poker. This method in poker training is very effective and brings you back to your schooling days, only fun.
