Cake Poker Review

Cake Poker is an online poker room that was established in 2005 and has been running seamlessly since then. Over the past five years Cake Poker has been able to grow into one of the larger poker rooms on the internet. The reason they have seen such exceptional growth is in large part due to the promotions, realistic software and the fact that they allow US players to play poker in their poker room. I have found that the poker room is one of the best designed while still ensuring that players can navigate through the settings and options easily.

We have found the software that Cake Poker uses to run the poker room to be excellent over the years. If you’re a new player to the room then you will need to spend a couple minutes downloading the software to your computer. Once you’ve downloaded the software you’ll be able to set-up your account with the poker room so that you can begin playing. You will be able to choose your own 3D character to represent you at the poker table from a variety of different options. Initially in 2004-2005 Cake Poker had some flaws in their software, but they have since improved the software drastically and taken player suggestions so that players have the most enjoyable experience.

One thing that I have found with Cake Poker is that they don’t have enough of a game selection for some players. I personally only play Holdem and Omaha typically which are the two games offered at Cake Poker, but at the same time a lot of other players enjoy playing other games. You won’t be able to play poker games such as seven card stud, razz, five card draw or any mixed poker games.

Welcome Bonus

Cake Poker offers one of the larger welcome bonuses for first time depositors and it’s automatically assigned to your account although there are requirements for earning the bonus. You need to earn FPP’s in order to clear your bonus and it will be released in $10 increments. You can view how much of the bonus you’ve earned from your account at all times and you’ll have exactly 90 days to clear as much of the bonus as you can.

  • 110% Welcome Bonus for up to $600 Maximum on your First Deposit only.

There are lots of ongoing promotions running at Cake Poker which you should take advantage of as a player in the room. They often send out reload bonus codes to loyal players through email as well as tickets into freeroll tournaments. Cake Poker runs a very unique loyalty program for players too. You can potentially earn over $50K from the rewards program every year, but obviously you’d need to be a full-time player basically to earn that much.

Player Support

You can always contact a Cake Poker support team member no matter what time it is where you live. They are very knowledgeable and work on replying to every support ticket within 20-30 minutes. They have several emails on their website so make sure you choose the correct email for your question.
