Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond

Phil Galfond was born in 1985 and grew up in Maryland although he currently resides in New York City where he plays a lot of online poker. Phil attended the University of Wisconsin although he quickly realized that he was making more money at the poker tables then he ever would working a 9-5 job. Galfond is a young poker player, but already has a lot of online and live poker experience.

Phil is one of the most well known high stakes poker players on Full Tilt Poker and he can often be seen playing on the $200/$400 tables. Galfond uses the alias ?OMGClayAiken? on Full Tilt , who also goes by the moniker “Jman” and if you read any of the popular poker websites you?ve probably seen this name being mentioned in the past. Galfond has done quite well in online tournaments although he does specialize in cash games.

Over his young career thus far Phil has been able to cash six times in the World Series of Poker. Galfond also has one money cash in a WPT event and another cash in a WSOP Circuit event. He has won one WSOP bracelet and I?m sure he will add to that in time. In 2009 Galfond founded BlueFirePoker which is a poker training website filled with lots of poker instructional videos from Phil and several other trainers and coaches. Some of Phil?s career highlights consist of some of the following finishes.
