Nick “Stox Trader” Grudzien isn?t your typical poker professional and didn?t start playing until his late twenties. Before playing poker Nick worked as a stock broker in New York and was busy raising a family with his wife. In his spare time at night Grudzien would spend time playing online poker and he soon discovered that he was making more profit playing poker then selling high profile stocks. Nick decided that he would make the move to playing poker full-time and he hasn?t looked back.
Over the past couple years Grudzien has compiled a list of online poker accomplishments including being one of the few players to win over $1 million in online poker in both limit and no limit Holdem. Nick is also the founder of Stox Poker and spends a lot of his time posting instructional videos and articles on his website. Grudzien currently resides in California with his family, but travels often to play in live tournaments. He hasn?t seen very much success playing in live tournament yet as he only cashed in one event thus far which was way back in 2006.
Nick has never claimed to be a tournament specialist and he in fact rarely plays in tournaments online as he prefers playing cash games. Not only does Nick run a poker training website, but he has also released a DVD Box set with his instructional DVD?s for players to purchase on various poker websites if they would like. We will definitely continue hearing about Nick in the online poker world and let?s hope we see him cash in some big live events shortly.
