James “Andy Mcleod” Obst

James “Andy Mcleod” Obst is one of the most hyped young online poker players right now and he has simply been dominating some of the online tables, especially H.O.R.S.E. Poker. James is still very young and currently isn?t even old enough to play in any of the WSOP events because you need to be 21 in the USA. James however is able to play online poker and he has quickly built up a strong resume in both tournaments and cash games. Obst also works with PokerSwat as one of the lead instructors where he has submitted tons of instructional and strategy videos for poker players to view. Obst has won several large online poker tournaments in the past including the FTOPS Razz Event which earned him a gold avatar on Full Tilt to show off. James never knew he was going to play poker full-time and he was actually a really good chess player in the past. You can currently watch James play on Full Tilt with the big boys such as Matusow, Ivey, Dwan and others. You can also communicate with him on PokerSwat if you decide to become a member with the training website. Over the past year Obst has begun playing in several live poker tournaments in the Aussie Millions and seen some nice results in two of the events. He has been really limited as to the live game experience he can achieve right now because of his age, but there is no doubt we will see James in the future at the WSOP. ? 2009 ? 6th Place Finish in Event #4 $1K Limit Holdem at the Aussie Millions ? 2009 ? 11th Place Finish in Event #14 $2K NL Holdem Short Handed at the Aussie Millions
