David “Raptor” Benefield

David “Raptor” Benefield

David “Raptor” Benefield is one of the trainers at Cardrunners.com which is the number one online poker training website. David is only 20 years old and he resides in Fort Worth, Texas although the past year he has been traveling a lot for poker. He just made it back from the 2009 WSOP in Las Vegas where he did very well and managed to cash in a $5K event.

The young poker player is going to be heading back to school come September which means that he won’t be spending as much time playing poker. He will be playing a lot of online poker I’m sure though and training players over at Cardrunners.com. You can find Benefield playing online poker at Full Tilt Poker where he often plays heads-up poker or PLO ring table games.

When David first started playing poker he only would play sit and go tournaments online because the investment was small and money could still be made. He quickly became one of the strongest sit and go tournament players on the internet and then he decided that he would try and master cash games since they offer a bigger reward. When David isn’t playing poker he enjoys a lot of hobbies including real estate, fitness and health. Benefield is one of the most popular young poker players right now and I’m sure we’ll see some big things from him in the next few years.
