Cole “cts” South

Cole “cts” South

Cole “cts” South is a member and also an instructor for Cardrunners.com where he can often be found teaching young poker players the game of poker. Cole never grew up playing poker and he actually only started playing poker in 2005 when he found online poker. Since finding online poker in 2005 Cole hasn’t looked back and he has grown a small stakes bankroll into millions.

Cole South is apart of the Full Tilt Team as well and that is where Cole currently plays all of his online poker. He is a very well known online poker player and he goes by the alias “cts”. Cole resides in Washington, DC although he often travels to play in live poker tournaments. Over the past several years Cole has went from playing low limit poker to playing in the world’s biggest live tournaments. He has amassed a bankroll of over $2 million already and he still has plenty of years in front of him.

Cole enjoys playing sports when he isn’t playing poker, but he doesn’t have much time on his hands lately. Between playing online poker at Full Tilt Poker, playing in live poker events and teaching students at Cardrunners.com there isn’t much time in the day left for the young professional poker players. Cole hasn’t placed in the money in very many live events yet because he is still gaining experience as he is so used to the live poker experience. He did participate in the 2009 World Series of Poker though and managed to place in the money in one of the events.

• 2009 World Series of Poker Event #57 NL Holdem Championship – 162nd Place
• 2007 Full Tilt Poker FTOPS IV Event #2 PL Omaha W/Rebuys – 18th Place
