Cliff “johnnybax” Josephy

Cliff “johnnybax”Josephy grew up and currently still resides in the New York area. Cliff who is also known as Johnny Bax is one of the top online poker players in the world. Cliff used the alias Johnny Bax for years and it has stuck with him in the poker world and you?ve probably heard of him if you?ve played much online poker. Johnny Bax is the lead instructor on PokerXFactor which is one of the leading poker instructional websites.

Johnny primarily plays in tournaments whether it?s an online or live tournament and rarely plays cash games. He has seen some incredible success playing in online tournaments and has consistently had top ten finishes. He recently finished 2nd place in one of the ?Nightly Hundred Grand? events which earned him $17K. In April he had two excellent first place finishes in a $109 Rebuy NL Holdem Event on Poker Stars and in a Super Tuesday on Poker Stars. The two wins earned him a combined total of just under $100K.

Over his short career so far Johnny has won one World Series of Poker bracelet which came in 2005 when he won Event #8 which was the $1.5K Seven Card Stud Event.
