Ben “NeverScaredB” Wilinofsky

Ben “NeverScaredB” Wilinofsky is one of the featured instructors at PocketFives.  He has over $2 million in lifetime tournament winnings, including 2 Triple Crowns. He hails from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Still a student, and technically not a poker professional, Ben’s accomplishments to date seem even more astounding. He is in his final year of studies at the Richard Ivey School of Business. He actually only became a poker player after having difficulty finding a ‘real job’ between classes in the Summer of 2008.

Ben specializes in high-stakes online MTTs. He mostly plays NLHE, with some Pot Limit Omaha games mixed in. As a high-stakes player, he naturally prefers the bigger poker sites (PokerStars, FullTiltPoker, Party Poker) and likes both full ring and 6-max games.

Major cashes include:

  • FTP $750K (2nd place, $82K)
  • PS $100 rebuy (win, $42K)
  • PS $1K Super Tuesday (win, $65K)
  • PS $300K (win, $95K)
