Adrian “chardrian” Dresel-Velasquez was born and raised in Nigeria. He obtained a law degree from the University of Wisconsin, where he learned to play poker. After working for the Assistant Attorney General for the State of Wisconsin for a couple of years following his education, he decided to turn poker pro in 2007. Adrian has won over $800,000 playing MTT poker online with over 900 cashes to his credit.
Adrian enjoys grinding at the mid-stakes MTTs on PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker. However, he also developed a passion for the game and eventually became a contributing writing for the Poker Pwnage MTT forum. He is now an instructor for Pocket Fives training.
Among his many tournament credits are:
- FTOPs 2007 Main Event (3rd place good for $155K)
- WSOP final tables in both 2009 and 2010
