The video variety is pretty much limited to NLH in its different forms. A few Limit holdem videos are thrown in for good measure but the main thrust of the site is the No Limit Micro stakes games. In this they succeed very well with the instructors pretty much covering all forms in the micros stakes category. If you are looking for other games such as Razz, PLO etc this site is not suited to that. If you are a micro stakes NLH player you will receive the most from this site.

NLHE - No-Limit Hold 'Em
6 Max (68)
Spenda, Jyms, JGB, AAPoker
Good analysis and presentation. Multiple "series" videos to walk you through specific aspects of the game.
Full Ring (33)
Spenda, Jyms, CodeRed, JGB
Plenty of Full ring cash game support
HeadsUp (3)
Spenda, AA Poker
LHE - Limit Hold 'Em
6 max (2)

The Limit videos are lacking here. Would be more beneficial if more micro limit videos were added as many new "micro grinders" are limit players.
Multi Table Tournaments (MTT)
8/10
MTT Pros: Char, AAPoker, CodeRed, JGB
The MTT section is also very well covered with over 40 videos covering everything from $2 MTT's up to $55 buyin tournaments. There are even some satellite videos thrown into the mix. Most of these are in "series" formats ranging from 3 to 9 part series. The instructors appear to have a very good grasp of organizing the format of the videos, rather than just throwing in a stand alone video which would have been out of context for the most part. Any aspiring player can benefit from the different video series if they are wanting to get their feet wet.
Sit and Go's (SNG)
9/10
SNG Pros: JGB
The Sit & Go section covers buyin ranges from as low $1 going up to $11 for both 6 max and full ring, and up to $33 for the headsup variety . Jeffrey "JGB146" Blake tends to do the bulk of the SNG video's & does a very good job with them. His breakdown and analysis of the SNG format is great and his presentation is very professionally executed. Players are taken from absolute beginner levels to more advanced ICM type discussions for every possible SNG scenario. One of the sites strongest categories.
Other Games (Stud, Omaha, Razz, etc.)
5/10
There are 2 PLO cash videos, 1 7card stud video, a stud hi/lo video, and a Razz video. Definately more content could be added for the micro limit mixed game player, but are now moving in expanding this library.
Weaknesses
Perhaps the sites only weakness is their lack variety when it comes to games. The main thrust of the site is the No Limit Holden games. If you only play NLH then this is not even a concern. Though they have recently released some introductory videos for mixed games.
Strengths
The strength of the site is its focused coverage of the No limit holdem categories. They cover every conceivable format for NLH and display them in a very cohesive fashion. The instructional series are all very well put together. Whether you are into playing cash games, MTT's or SNG's they have it covered and they are instructed very well.
Another strength which might come surprising for a low cost site with no membership fee, is how well the video's are produced. The quality is extremely professional in every sense of the word. You do not have interruptions during the videos, and both the audio and video quality is good.
Grinderschool has also removed the DRM from their videos! All new videos will now be released in Flash as well as WMV. Grinder School is also working hard converting their existing library to support both formats.
Expected Value: Is GrinderSchool worth it?
GrinderSchool is a gold nugget at this price range. If you are a micro stakes player looking to grind your way up to higher limits, then this site is perfect for you. The instruction and professional production is unbelievable at such a low price. Definately a +EV investment for an aspiring player. Give them a try, a huge thumbs up for this site!

Other Games Coming Soon! written by JGB146 , August 26, 2008
It's with a bit of joy that I read that the only major downfall Poker Training Guide saw with our site was the lack of other games. We have already started adding to our PLO library, and are beginning a monthly "Intro to a new game" series, starting with Seven Card Stud in early September.

Other games - here written by JGB146 , October 01, 2008
I wanted to come back and provide an update. As promised, we released an intro to seven-card stud in September. We already have the next release (introduction to Razz) recorded; it will be released next week.
We also have multi-game videos sitting in our stash for a future release, a deuce/seven lowball video already recorded, and I'm currently working on an Intro to 7CS 8 or Better.
