Cardrunners is very biased towards NLHE 6 max cash games primarily due to consumer demand. When looking at the videos by type we see that Cardrunners excels at NLHE 6 max at the expense of Full Ring games. This gap has been addressed with the hiring of P3achy_Keen but it will take a while to catch up to the other sites. The quality and quantity of Limit HE videos was addressed recently with another top LHE pro, Schneids. Cardrunners has a bevy of high stakes tournament players and it shows by the quantity and quality of their MTT videos. Due to the low demand for "other" games cardrunners is a little thin.

Pros
9/10
NLHE - No-Limit Hold 'Em
6 Max (269)
CTS, Sbrugby, Green Plastic
This is Cardrunners bread and butter game of choice. All instructors and guest pros excel at NHLE 6max and it shows by the extreme quality of videos produced.
Full Ring (22)
P3eachy_Keen
This is an up and coming area of Cardrunners that is lacking depth at the moment.
HeadsUp (40)
CTS, Sbrugby, Green Plastic
Cardrunners has the best NHLE HU pros out of any poker training site. These videos always exceed expectations and do not disappoint.
LHE - Limit Hold 'Em
6 max (42)
Schneids
The Limit videos are above average compared to other sites. Cardrunners LHE instructor Schneids is pounding out the quality videos but has a bit of catching up to do compared to other sites.
Multi Table Tournaments (MTT)
7/10
High Stakes Pros: Action Jeff, Adanthar, MKind16, RandAllin
A vast amount of MTT videos despite being known as a “cash game training site”. All limits are included from low stakes to the highest online stakes. Cardrunners has some of the top ranked MTT players online and therefore their bias is towards high stakes tournaments with deep structures. These videos will surely step up your tournament game to help you go deep in your next big tournament.
Sit and Go's (SNG)
8/10
SNG Pros: Jsup, Muddywater, and Jackal69
The three above noted pros are the authors for the majority of videos that range in limits from $1 - $555. These pros have beaten the games for years and because they are able to elaborate on their techniques in their video's the user ratings are very high for this section.
Other Games (Stud, Omaha, Razz, etc.)
7/10
A better selection of cash videos for Pot Limit Omaha then some of the lesser played games. There are a couple videos each of the other games including RAZZ, Omaha Hi/Lo, Draw, Stud, and HA. MTTs are only NLHE except for a few Horse videos. Limited Sit and Go options as well. The lack of videos is mainly due to demand but if you want to learn a new game you will be able to pick up some advanced knowledge through the videos cardrunners does produce.
Weaknesses
Cardrunners did have some audio/video problems with some of their videos but those issues have since been corrected and Cardrunners assures us that they are in the past. The website is a bit tough to navigate and find those lesser know articles or membership information but works well to find the list of videos and forums. The biggest complaints from members is in regards to the lack of Full Ring content as mentioned above and not a lot of other games. Cardrunners is working on solidifying these areas but they do fall below what we come to expect from a top notch training site like Cardrunners.
Strengths
The biggest selling point of Cardrunners is definitely the all star roster. For online cash games, there aren’t too many bigger names than Sbrugby, CTS, Stinger, and all. They easily have the biggest archive of videos available, fast download speeds, and new videos are uploaded daily. Forum activity is high, blog entries are frequent, and the overall site appears to be continuously growing. There recent joint venture with Full Tilt will also mean higher quality promotions, and access to even bigger name pros. The large membership base makes for a solid investment, forums are well populated and support answers questions quickly.
Expected Value: Is Cardrunners worth it?
Cardrunners is definitely the cream of the crop of training videos that will provide an invaluable resource to all levels of players. Their target market is NLHE 6max players looking to move up limits and make real money. PokerTrainingGuide believes that making the investment into your game through Cardrunners is totally worth it and that you will recoup your investment in 1 month of playing. You just need to win one extra pot a month to justify the investment. You can easily improve your win rate in a month by following what you see in the videos and how they explain advanced concepts.
