Year of the Challenge

2009 looks like the year of the personal challenge. Everybody seems like they have something to prove, or some added motivation to improve their poker play.

By now everybody has heard of the ongoing Durrrr Challenge. With Tom Dwan and Patrick Antonius locking horns for hundreds of hours now.

There was also the legendary Boku Challenge where Thomas “Boku” Boekhoff managed to turn $100 into $10,000 in 15 days playing only $16 max sitngos. He completed that with ease and is now embarking on his turn $5 into $100,000 in 1 year challenge. Some training site desperately needs to sign this guy up as a coach. PokerVT? Spacegravy and Boku as your 2 lead sng instructors would be sick!

Finally as part of the new G4 network show “2 Months, $2 Million” airing August 16th at 9pm, 4 top online pros will be attempting their challenge.

Dani “Ansky” Stern of PokerSavvyPlus

Jay “Krantz” Rosenkrantz of DeucesCracked

Emil “Whitelime” Patel of Deuces Cracked

Brian “Flawless Victory” Roberts of Deuces Cracked

These 4 players will be living together in a “Poker Mansion” and attempt to earn $2 million in 2 months at the tables. This new poker reality show will follow their wild antics, crazy parties, and their baller lifestyles. Of course there will be some poker play as well.
