Bluff Magazine 2008 online player of the year David “The Maven” Chicotsky is the latest to utilize the LightspeedVT technology and will be coming out with his own dedicated training site – TheMavenVT (themavenvt.com). One on one virtual training with the maven himself will utimately guide you into becoming a better tournament player. Stay tuned for updates as Pokertrainingguide will bring you a full themavenVT review as soon as possible.

An email from maven:

The plan is to have my online training course (TheMavenVT.com) up and running in the next 6 months, expected cost will be around $1,000. I’ll go ahead and include my rates for one-on-one training below (don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions or would like more information…you can follow me on twitter: TheMavenVT):

I am currently preparing for the WSOP and will not resume private training sessions until after the WSOP (my rate for 1 on 1 personal coaching is $2,000 per day). If you are interested in training with my poker mentor Ari Engel over skype/phone, he charges $200 per hour, five hour minimum.

and

I have had several deep runs in this year’s WSOP, a couple of bubbles, a final two and final four table performance, and a light cash. I have had three of my students make final tables this year for a combined total of $395,000 which of course makes me feel great. My only hope now is to have more of my students go deep in big events next year and in the years to come.

Due to the outpouring of interest in training with me as of late, I have decided to take a break from recording footage for TheMavenVT in the studio to hold group training seminars towards the end of this summer.

The rate will be $5,000 for 5 days of intensive training. Classes will include six students. I will be bringing in a student fluent in my system who will be there to assist in the training. The entire session will be in a state of the art training facility, specifically designed for maximizing your learning experience.

The weeks which I am running these courses are as follows. July 20th to 24th, August 3rd to 7th, and August 16th to 20th.

The schedule for the week will be as follows:

Day 1:
9am to 12pm Arrivals
12pm to 2pm Lunch at local restaurant
. 2pm to 3pm Meet and greet with Maven.
3pm to 6pm First look at our base fundamentals (we will go through all of the
points in the system)
6pm to 7pm Dinner while watching pre-recorded tournaments I have won.
7pm to 12am Review of past tournaments which I have went deep in. Question
and answer period during.

Day 2 through 5:
10am to 2pm Pre-recorded tournament review (teacher’s assistant).
2pm to 4pm Lunch over Q&A with The Maven.
4pm to 12am Watching The Maven play MTT’S online.

Thank you for your interest in training with me. Every student who walks through the training center doors greatly improves their mtt poker game. Making my students better players is my top priority; training students is a job I enjoy, am good at, and take pride in. You will love the fact that I literally hold no information back when I am playing and training. We will be discussing every single detail of my system thoroughly.

To reserve your seat for one of my training workshops, a 50% deposit (money order, online transfer, or certified check) will be required…responding as soon as possible will guaranty your seat in one of the aforementioned weeks. I look forward to helping you improve your poker game.
