Sorel Mizzi plus Thomas Marchese equals Poker Wiz Kids

What do Sorel Mizzi’s new poker training site and Tom Marchese’s new poker training site have in common? They are the same thing. Thomas “kingsofcards” Marchese, the 2010 CardPlayer Player of the Year and Sorel “Imper1um” Mizzi, the 2010 Bluff Magazine Player of the Year, are joining forces to create their new poker training site called Poker Wiz Kids.

Tom Marchese from the United States has ammassed over $2.4 million in career tournament winnings. His big live results include winning the 2010 NAPT Venetian main event for $827,646, 4th in the EPT High Roller event for $350,125, and 3rd in the 2010 Foxwoods World Poker Finals main event for $211,759. Online known as kingsofcards his biggest score was winning the Wednesday $250k in January on PokerStars for $59,832 and placing 2nd in the Full Tilt Sunday Mulligan in September for $44,000. To say that 2010 was a breakout year for Tom is a huge understatement.

Sorel Mizzi from Canada has built up a very successful yet controversial name for himself in the poker world. With over $4 million in career poker tournament earnings he is amongst the elite. Though contraversy still haunts Sorel from his multi-accounting days. The Titan Poker sponsored player has had some very good recent results including back to back final tabling the Aussie Millions in 2010 and 2011 for a combined total of over $750,000. Online as Imper1um he has won the Sunday Warmup on Pokerstars for $149,737 and also won a SCOOP Event in May for $118,500. Irregardless of his conduct, Sorel is considered in the poker world one of the best online poker tournament players of all time.
